BV Software's New Theme Builder Cuts Button Building Time in Half

BV Commerce 2.0, an ASP.NET e-commerce solution for web merchants and developers, now includes a free theme builder, enabling users to automatically change fonts, colors, backgrounds and button images without HTML or programming. RICHMOND, VA (March 31th, 2002)-BV Software LLC announced today the release of BV Theme Builder, a free developers’ tool that enables users to quickly change the appearance of web stores built with BV Commerce 2.0. Users can also upload and download themes from the BV Software website. A free download is available at www.bvsoftware.com, as well as a free trial version of BV Commerce 2.0.

BV Theme Builder allows users to change web store fonts, colors, backgrounds and buttons without HTML or programming. Saving a new theme to a web store can be accomplished with one click. The Theme Builder tool also has an upload link built in to make publishing themes to BV Software simple. BV Commerce users can then browse the BV Software web site to download new themes.

BV Theme Builder cuts the time intensive button building process in half. Rather than creating each button separately in an image editor and importing it into BV Commerce 2.0, BV Theme Builder users can upload one background image and select fonts and colors. The Theme Builder then generates a complete button set, saving time and effort.

Users can select colors from the standard Windows color picker or enter RGB color values. Custom colors can be saved and applied to additional templates. Users can also change font colors and styles, change hyperlink colors and import background images.
