Making Money with Blogs

Not only are blogs great marketing tools to help drive traffic to your online store, but they can also be moneymakers in themselves.

Thanks to Google Adsense, you can make money by writing about the things you love. By placing Google Adsense on your blog, you invite readers of your blog to click on the ad links. For every click, you can earn some extra cash. Blogger makes it so easy that you can sign up for Google Adsense in a matter of minutes.

Now, you may want to be careful with this practice! You don't want competitors ads showing up on your blog and driving traffic away from you! But if you screen out competitors ads and only show ads that are relevant to your industry but peacefully coexist with your product or service, you can make a little bit of extra money and still market your product or service effectively.

It's unlikely that you'll retire to the Caribbean doing this, unless you have an extremely popular blog, in which case, you may want to consider giving up your online store and blogging full time! But if you want to increase your marketing through blogs, while making some extra money, consider advertising on your blog as a means to accomplish that.
